Caramelized Summer Simplicity

When stone fruit is at its peak, it doesn’t need much. Baking nectarines intensifies their natural sugars, turning the flesh soft and jammy. This Cinnamon Honey Sauce acts as a warm glaze that pools in the center of the fruit, creating a sophisticated dessert that feels indulgent but remains incredibly light.

The ingredient

The Fruit

  • Ripe Nectarines4 Count
  • Sliced Almonds2 tbsp
  • Fresh MintFor Garnish

The Sauce

  • Raw Honey3 tbsp
  • Ground Cinnamon1 tsp
  • Vanilla Extract1/2 tsp
  • Unsalted Butter (Melted)1 tbsp

The instruction

Step 01

Fruit Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Halve the nectarines and remove the pits. Place them cut-side up in a baking dish—choose a dish that fits them snugly to keep the juices concentrated.

Step 02

Whisk the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla. Whisk until it becomes a smooth, fragrant amber syrup.

Step 03

The Glaze: Drizzle the honey sauce generously over the nectarines, making sure a small pool of syrup fills the center where the pit used to be. Sprinkle the sliced almonds over the top for crunch.

Step 04

Bake & Bloom: Roast for 12-15 minutes until the fruit is tender and the sauce is bubbling. For an extra gourmet touch, serve warm with a dollop of Greek yogurt, crème fraîche, or a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
